After six years of retirement, she discovered a new rhythm to life—one shaped by clay, creativity, and quiet transformation. It all began with a handbuilding class that sparked a deep and unexpected passion for pottery. What started as a curious exploration quickly evolved into a soulful pursuit, where each piece she creates is designed not only to serve a purpose in the home but to evoke a sense of peace and beauty within. Her work is rooted in the belief that functional art can elevate the everyday, turning simple rituals like morning coffee or shared meals into moments of reflection and joy.
Today, she works primarily on the wheel, crafting elegant forms that invite both touch and admiration. Her focus on carving adds depth and personality to each vessel, while her glazing techniques bring the surfaces to life—layered, flowing, and full of movement. These multidimensional finishes highlight the contours of her pieces, drawing the eye and creating a sense of dynamic energy. Whether it's a softly curved bowl or a boldly carved mug, her pottery speaks to the harmony between form and function, offering beauty that resonates far beyond the shelf it sits on.

I’m a glaze enthusiast at heart—always chasing the perfect surface, the unexpected reaction, the magic that happens in the kiln. Intricate design is my playground, and I create ceramic pieces that reflect my personal vision of perfection. Texture and form are my signature, and I find deep joy in building work that feels both tactile and expressive.
Sharing my techniques with fellow artists is one of the most rewarding parts of my journey. Watching others grow and succeed fuels my own creativity and strengthens the community I love. I’m drawn to functional ceramics that serve a purpose while also standing as works of art, and I regularly exhibit in art shows where I find endless inspiration from other artists and their creations.
As the curator of Treasure Coast Potters in Vero Beach, Florida, and a proud member of Indian River Clay Studios, I’m deeply embedded in the local ceramics scene. My work is driven by a desire to create one-of-a-kind pieces—each requiring patience, precision, and a fearless approach to glaze experimentation. I specialize in combining unusual glazes and patterns to achieve surfaces that are both visually striking and technically refined.
Above all, I strive to sculpt pieces that are perfectly realistic in proportion and design, where every detail is intentional and every ratio sings in harmony.
